Through The Lens: La Bestia de Gevaudan / Mindframe / Milk White Throat / @ The Hope & Ruin, Brighton, 13th August 2023
Post-metallers La Bestia de Gevaudan embarked on a European tour last August, which started at The Hope & Ruin, in Brighton. Often compared to Neurosis, The Ocean or Bossk, the trio from Santiago de Chile gave us a hell of a show, which can also be confirmed by anyone who saw them at ArcTanGent a few days later.
Supported by local bands Milk White Throat(prog heavy rock) and Mindframe(math rock/neo grunge), this gig was put together brilliantly thanks to the audience, the bands and also Matt, the guy behind Yeah Go On Then who organises the finest noisy shows in town.
As you can imagine, having to shoot this gig with some new gear, I can testify that this show was not only fun but probably one of the best shows I’ve seen in town this year.
